Following the footsteps of Rogers and Bell, Telus revealed  recently its offer for a specific data plan for the microSIM toting  Apple iPad 3G+WiFi tablets. Telus' singular data plan is 500MB for $20 which differs from Rogers and Bell's two plan strategy at 250MB for $15 and 5GB for $35 a month.

According to Telus, users who use more than their allotted 500 MB will only pay $0.05 per MB up to a maximum of $30, but if the user continues to use data beyond 600 MB, they do not pay more than the extra $30.

So the maximum a user can spend in any given month is $50. Telus also said it has imposed a hard cap of 5GB on the amount of data iPad owners can consume in a given month.

Telus said that users who use more than their allotted 500 MB will pay $0.05 per MB up to a maximum of $30, but if the user consumes data beyond 600 MB, they will not be made to pay more than the extra $30.

This means the most a user can spend in any given month is capped at  $50. Telus is said it has imposed a ceiling of 5GB on the amount of data iPad owners can consume in a given month.

To enable access to Telus data, customers need to buy the Telus Micro SIM which sells for $10.
