A surprisng upgrade to the phenomenal Olympus Pen E-PL1 offers a redesigned body plus a new 14-42mm lens and what is being called a Medusa version (above) sporting twin spotlights for the purpose of macro photography. If this is priced anywhere near the E-PL1's sub $500 sweet spot, we're sure it will be a hot seller when it hits the stores later this year.

Seems like the EPL 2 is coming sooner than expected and should be in stores at the end of the January. Pricing is expected to be in the ballpark of the ELP-1, which will likely be discounted until they discontinue it (which is unlikely as Olympus still sells the EP1 and the EP2 simultaneously.
