It seems that in a rush to push out Android OS Jelly Bean 4.2, Google forgot to include December. The latest update which is available to most Nexus 7 tablets and some versions of the Galaxy Nexus seems to have forgotten to include December as an option in the People app which right now makes it impossible to set any December events or contact birthdays. The selector goes from November 2012 to January 2013. The Calendar app isn't affected by this bug.
