Eton Corporation's  line of Canadian Red Cross safety radios, the FR170 and FR370. Emergency radios have come a long way, and now provide families with the essentials of light, information and energy in unexpected situations.

The self-powered FR 170 radio uses a hand crank or solar power to re-charge the internal Ni-MH battery. It features AM/FM radio and NOAA weatherband in seven channels to provide emergency weatherinformation and public alerts.

In addition, the FR 170 has three integrated LED lights, 3.5 mm headphone output and even a USB port for charging cell phones. MSRP $39.99.

 The FR 370 Emergency Preparedness radio features the NOAA Weather Alert Network and can be recharged using a hand crank, three AAA batteries, a DC input or a solar panel to grab power from the sun. A USB port can even charge your smartphone.

The device comes equipped with a telescopic antenna that provides you with maximum reception when you need it most, and sealed rubber gaskets and plugs help to seal out moisture ?keeping you safe when any disaster strikes. MSRP $69.99.
