In order to celebrate the launch of the Spectre XT Ultrabook, HP Canada held a Wine Pairing event yesterday at the well hidden VIntage Conservatory at 100 Lombard St.,Toronto. The new Spectre is a slimmed down version of the original Spectre. That first Spectre was suited top to bottom in Gorilla Glass but the Spectre XT, which retails for a $999 starting price, is mostly aluminum. Sporting Intel Core i5 processors, an 8-hour battery life and as thin as 14.5 mm and starting at only 3.07 lbs, it is one of the more portable Ultrabooks we've seen to date.
