LG jumps into the flagship smartphone fray with the Optimus G

LG made its move today and revealed its Optimus G LTE-enabled flagship Android smartphone. LG Canada is calling it "the most powerful Snapdragon quad-core smartphone available." Aside from the aforementioned 1.5GHz processor, the Optimus G features a large 4.7-inch  WXGA True HD IPS plus  display, 2GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera and a High-density, 2,100mAh battery in a slim design. The Optimus G rolls out in Novemeber and we're looking forward to reviewing it soon. It arrives in November.

The global roll out begins this next week with retail availability in Korea. Canada will follow suit in November with availability across the country through a number of carrier and retail partners including Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Best Buy, Future Shop, Tbooth wireless, The Source, WIRELESSWAVE, and WIRELESS etc. Hit jump for LG's full press release with all the features.

LG Brings Optimus G to Canada

TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2012 - LG Electronics (LG) Canada announced today that it is bringing its newest premium, flagship LTE-enabled smartphone, the LG Optimus G, to Canada in November 2012.
