Being November, commonly known to guys as prostate cancer awareness month or "Movember", it was timely to attend the first annual Gentleman’s Expo over at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto. The show was, as you can guess, about all things manly and gentleman-like with activities such as: scotch tasting, charity poker (with proceeds going to Movember), hair cuts, straight razor shaves, shoe shines and a lot more. Hit jump for details on the event.

Also in attendance were W. Brett Wilson and Jim Treviling of the hit TV show Dragon's Den, who sat on a panel discussing their successes, failures, and of course, what motivates them to succeed in business and in life.

Two other notable attendees were Damon Snider of Type D-Living (pictured in the gallery ) and Toronto's own Gotsyle men's clothing store.

Type D-Living is a niche offering from Mr. Snider which offers single guys their own interior decorator without losing the "cool dude factor" of where they live.

Snider recommends solutions and works with each client to create a living space that is "dude friendly, but a chick magnet". I've been following his progress for the last six and a hakf months and can't wait to have my man cave "Dude-ified" in the near future.

Gotstyle, on the other hand, has benchmarked themselves as the mecca of mens style in Toronto. They dress everyone from celebrities to athletes and offer in-house tailoring and stylists to help each of their clients achieve that new look they're itching for!

There was much more that I saw, which wasn't mentioned above, so browse the gallery above!
