Blaq for the BlackBerry PlayBook is my favourite third-party Twitter application. The folks at Kisai Labs simply know how to create an application that really makes use of that OS's features. Now, they'e released Blaq for BB10 which I just downloaded for my Z10 for ($2.99).

Elegant, fast and engineered with some truly future-forward features, Blaq for BB10 is a great example of what an awesome software experience can feel like on the Z10 (it is also Q10 compatible).

Loading new Tweets is as easy as pulling down on the screen which results in a rubber-banding effect while tweets stream down in real-time.

To interact with a Tweet (retweet, favourite, quote) simply hold down on the specific tweet and all the options appear in a bar on the right.

Users can literally use one movement to hold a tweet and retweet, favourite, quote or share the tweet, which is remarkable.

There's a chock full of features that I have yet to play with but so far Blaq looks, and feels like the best Twitter experience yet on any smartphone.

Anyone who has a Z10 and who is on Twitter for work or personal use shouldn't think twice, Blaq is worth the money and will pay for itself in the amount of time one saves while using Twitter.

A lot of pundits keep talking about all the apps that other platforms have that BB10 doesn't have or isn't going to get (ahem, Netflix). This time around, BB10 truly has an app that other platforms are going to want but aren't going to get.

Great job Kisai Labs!
