The Dyson DC46 Turbinehead and DC51 Animal aren’t conventionally-sized vacuums but they can suck out those dust bunnies you probably didn’t know you had. The smaller sizes mean the technology inside has been reengineered and made better to suit the frame. And what are some of the new technologies you can expect?

The DC46 Turbinehead ($549.99) is the first cylinder vacuum with the Two Tier Radial Cyclone technology and its low center of gravity makes it easier to get around furniture. Meanwhile, the DC51 Animal ($549.99) performs much like a full-sized upright vacuum. It is mounted on a ball for maneuverability, its self-adjusting cleaner head maintains continuous suction, and it works on any floor type.

You can find out more about the technologies behind these vacuums on Dyson’s YouTube channel. And for those who purchase a full-size vacuum cleaner from Dyson Canada's webite until May 31 will receive a free Total Clean Kit.
