Netflix Inc. and DreamWorks Animation have entered their largest deal that will have Netflix premiering all-new original series from DreamWorks. Not only is this the biggest deal for original first-run content for Netflix with over 300 hours of new programming, this is also the first time DreamWorks characters will be introduced to the TV market as a branded collection of shows.

Aside from the new shows being inspired by characters from hit DreamWorks’ franchises, they will have upcoming feature films and a “vast Classic Media library.” The first series is said to start airing in 2014 but prior to that the first Netflix Original Series for kids will be available starting December. The series, Turbo F.A.S.T., will pick up where the upcoming film Turbo is going to finish off.
