Blue Microphones’ new adaptive USB mic Nessie wants to help out desktop recording newbies and experts with high-quality recordings of everything from vocals, to instruments, to voiceovers. This mic automatically adapts to whatever environment and situation and applies professional studio processing with built-in pop filter and internal shockmount to get the expertly produced sound.

The Nessie has three recording modes made for richer vocals, more detailed instruments, or raw audio for manual post-production editing. It also has a zero-latency headphone out for direct monitoring. The Nessie is available on the market for $99.95.
