Just in time for the weekend, Mega Jump 2 from Toronto-based developer Get Set games brings oodles of habit forming fun with their fast-paced motion controlled game for the iPhone and the iPad. This is the fantastic sequel to the original Mega Jump, which saw massive worldwide success, hitting #1 in over 28 countries.

Get Set Games was founded in 2009 in Toronto, Ontario by four friends in the basement of co-founder Matt Coombe. The four founders worked together at a startup in the early 2000s, two of whom are brothers who grew up in Africa, moved to London, and then chose Canada as home. The founders got into making games together at the Toronto Games Jam http://www.tojam.ca/home/default.asp of which one of the Get Set Games founders (Rob Segal) is a co-founder. It's a great Toronto annual event and is heading into it's ninth year.

This developer is an avid proponent of the iOS platform, consistently claiming that they wouldn’t have a business if the iPhone didn’t exist. Since their inception, the studio has become one of the leading Canadian independent game studios working on mobile devices. With over 50 million downloads to date on Apple and Android mobile devices, Get Set Games have created a well-loved and enduring series of games featuring the lovable monster Redford and his forest-dwelling friends and has worked with the likes of Disney.
