If you are a stickler for audio quality and hope you can bring your high-resolution audio with you everywhere, Sony is introducing three new options for you: MDR-Z7 headphones, MDR-1ADAC headphones, and XBA-Z5 in-ears.

The MDR-Z7 is meant to bring studio-quality sounds with you. It has 70mm HD drivers to make sure you hear every note in its purest form. Lightweight, responsive aluminum-coat liquid crystal polymer diaphragms help give you more precise, consistent sound across the entire frequency range. It comes with four silver-coated copper wires and independent gournd wires for both channels to improve sound further. The MDR-Z7 has ergonomic urethane ear pads that keep the shape of the internal cushions and has inward axis structure to bring the pads closer to your ears and provide long-term comfort.

The MDR-1ADAC comes with an integrated DAC/amplifier and lets you connect to multiple digital devices. It has different inputs and cables you will need to connect it to a smartphone, portable audio player, or PC. It can play PCM (up to 192 kHz/24-bit) and DSD (up to 5.6 MHz) directly without the need for a decoder. With S-Master HX digital amplifier, these cans reduce noise and distortion in all frequency levels.

The XBA-Z5 is the more portable version of the MDR-Z7. It is balanced audio capable and makes use of dedicated left and right channel connectivity. It can reproduce up to 40,000 Hz and delivers hi-res audio reproduction. It has 16mm dynamic driver units with aluminum-coated LCP diaphragms and comes in easily adjustable ear-hanger design to fit your ears more securely.

The MDR-Z7 is available this month at Sony stores and authorized dealers for $699.99. The MDR-1ADAC will be available in January for $399.99. And the XBA-Z5 will come next month and will set you back $699.99.
