Microsoft just started rolling out a new update for its Xbox One console with a whole bunch of useful features. Some of the features are intended to improve use of Snap multitasking function, secure Xbox account, and access their social circles.
Here’s a quick rundown of the 249MB patch:
Snap function gets better navigation, which means you can double tap the Guide button to open a new app in Snap mode, close app you’re using, or switch between your game and an app.
Record 30 second gameplay in Snap mode.
Access to your friends and Achievements by double tapping the Guide button as well. You can see what Achievements you friends have unlocked.
A new Game Score Leaderboard shows where you are against the many, many other gamers.
Access game console’s clock and Digital Video Recorder functionality
You can check battery life of the control pad. And it can make your controller vibrate remotely if you can’t seem to find it.
Better two-step security authentication.
