The supposed resurrection of Twitpic has officially come to a close. The photo service will be shutting down soon after acquisition plans didn’t fall through. The good news is Twitter will take over the company’s domain and keep the old Twitpic photos online. However, you will not be able to upload new photos. The app has already been taken down from iOS and Android stores. You can still access your account online to delete old photos or export your data.
