Umbrellas are a staple for any weather condition. It is useful but it can get rather unwieldy at times and break kind of easily. Japanese designer Oki Sato is hoping to make the humble umbrella a bit more durable and ergonomic. His Stay-brella can be leaned against a wall without falling down or have it stand on its own. You can even hang it off a table easily with the two prongs that stick out of the handle. If ever you find yourself in Japan one of these days, it is for sale at Seibu for about US$54.
