Samsung will reportedly take the me-too route yet again. Sammobile “confirmed” the company’s next flagship handset will feature a fingerprint reader in the home button. It will work in a swipe manner, meaning you have to swipe the home button from base to tip to register your fingerprint. The device will reportedly register up to 8 fingerprints that can be used for different tasks or app shortcuts, aside from using one digit to unlock the phone.

The Galaxy S5 is said to have a Personal Folder and Private Mode feature that will allow you to hide apps or personal information. And yes, the folder is accessible with the use of your fingerprint. Let’s just wait for Samsung’s “Unpacked” event at Mobile World Congress to confirm the presence of this feature.
