Aside from the new tablets, Huawei unveiled a new mid-range Android smartphone with optional 4G connectivity. The Ascend G6 takes on the look of the Ascend P6, which Huawei claims is the slimmest Android device on the market. The G6 weighs around 115 grams and is about 7.85mm thin. It comes with a 4.5-inch display (960 x 540 resolution) and runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor. It also comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2,000 mAh battery, and the aforementioned 4G LTE that supports up to 150 Mbps. There will also be a 3G version of the device.

The 4G version will be available starting April and will come in black with gray and rose gold highlights or white with pink or champagne gold highlights. The 3G version will be available in the first quarter of the year and will come in black, pink, gold, blue, or white.
