LG has finally introduced its latest flagship smartphone following months and months of leaks and speculations. Called the G3, it follows in the footsteps of last year’s G2 device and is said to be a product of the company’s “Simple is the New Smart” concept. It features a “Floating Arc” design idea with an ergonomic arch to the device and slim side profile. It is supposedly ergonomic for one-handed use. The rear key has been redesigned for the G3 to have a more premium look and feel to it. LG also revamped its user interface to match the externals of the device with a flatter, more minimalistic look to the device along with circular elements taken from the idea and shape of LG’s logo.
The G3 has a 5.5-inch with an extremely high-resolution Quad HD screen with 538ppi pixel density. A new 13-megapixel OIS+ camera with Laser Auto Focus technology, which uses a laser beam to measure the distance between the subject and camera to take better quality images even in low-light situations. The G3 also gets a Google Now type of assistant with Smart Notice as well as security features like Knock Code, Content Lock, and Kill Switch. It also packs in a 3000mAh battery intended to lengthen the up time of the device.
