LG fans and tech enthusiasts around the world have been eagerly waiting for the Korean company’s response to Samsung’s and HTC’s flagships. Leaks and rumours have been swirling online about the specs and looks of the LG G3. The latest one claims the new smartphone will have a metal back cover and a removable battery. @evleaks posted a photo showing a metal back cover and another showing a removable battery. And while the metal back cover is something we might expect to replace the plastic back, the removable battery option still remains to be seen.
Ubergizmo reports LG previously released different variants of the G2. The version sold internationally had a non-removable 3000mAh battery but had a South Korean version which had a 2610mAh removable battery and microSD support. We’d really have to wait until the release, which is expected to happen at LG’s May 27 event.
