The new Star Wars:The Force Awakens trailer is out and it is 2:35 minutes of eye candy that reveals a few details about the upcoming movie but also raises a lot of questions about the plot, characters and how the saga continues.

Heavily focusing on the newer generation of characters, the trailer gives a glimpse of Rey (Daisy Lewis), a scavenger mining old imperial cruisers for parts. It also shows how Finn (John Boyega) was an stormtrooper and Tie-Fighter pilot who crash lands on the planet Jakku. We also see Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) paying homage to Darth Vader's mask and promising to 'finish what you started.' We see a scary display of the First Order's vast stormtrooper armies. Han, Leia, and Chewie are also visible although not exactly happy. The Millenium Falcon looks to be in various dogfights and at one point seems to crash into the side of an Imperial Cruiser and we get to see the requisite lightsaber showdown.

Just like in the recently released posters, there's no sign of Luke Skywalker (save for a split second where his robotic hand is holding R2-D2). The odds seem heavily stacked towards the dark side/empire (how are they in power again), with various key characters while the rebels seem to be a smaller group (plus the X-Wing Fighters). So many questions for this upcoming movie and only two month more to wait.
