RunKeeper wants to be more in tune with Android’s general look and brought Material Design over to its app. Version 5.3.3 of the app sticks to Google’s new guidelines. They’ve added bits of animation and brighter colors as well as organized information into cards. The activity list has been separated into its own cards. Details like length of the trek, time spent, and calories burned are all enumerated there and are seen on a large Google Map. Friend tabs are now shareable, too. RunKeeper said the aesthetic update doesn’t just make it look better but makes the app run faster, too.
