More than 4,400 people are confirmed dead and over 8,000 are injured according to the latest figures reported by CNN. Millions are displaced and as the numbers continue to climb from the devasting earthquake that struck Nepal this past Saturday, there is a desperate need for all levels of aid efforts.

Apple has activated a special donations page option on iTunes to support the Canadian Red Cross disaster relief efforts for the Nepal earthquake victims.

iTunes users can visit the donations page and automatically donate in denominations of $5, $10, $25, $50, or $200. 100% of donations will go to support the aid and relief effort. Contributions will go towards providing first aid, search and rescue and support to first responders.

iTunes will transfer 100% of donations to the Canadian Red Cross. To donate and for more information visit itunes.com/redcross
