The X-Files ended its original run in 2002. Now, we’re just that much closer to the comeback as Fox announced the debut of the new six-episode “event series.” The X-Files, starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, will be coming back on Sunday, January 24th in the US. It’ll be debuting after the NFC championship football game and then it will be moving to its Monday 8PM time slot.

We’re hoping it makes its way here because we can’t wait for this classic to make a comeback. This short series comes from the original mastermind Chris Carter. We aren’t sure about the details yet but we’re willing to bet there are aliens.
