Microsoft's Cortana personal assistant is slated to make its way to Android via a beta program next month. Cortana will hope to coexist with Google Now, the native voice assistant on Android devices. Tied in to a Microsoft Account, Cortana on Android will integrate with existing Microsoft products that handle Cortana events.

You can ask Cortana to remind you to walk the dog at 8pm in the evening from your Android device, and then when you’re watching a movie , your Xbox will interrupt playback to let you know it’s time to take the dog out. The beta is in preparation for larger Cortana release later in the year.
