It runs on Android 5.0 with ZenUI, an Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core 64-bit processor, Imagination Technologies PowerVR G6430, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB eMMC internal storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB.
ASUS boasts of a 7.9-inch 2K QXGA IPS display (1,536 x 2,048 resolution) with True2Life+ and TruVivid technologies. These are said to give the detailed, dynamic display of the tablet. It also packs in DTS Premium Sound technology to complement the screen. The ZenPad S 8.0 also carries USB Type-C connector to make it easier to plug in cables without having to worry if you have the cable on the right side.
