Lenovo Vibe S1

Lenovo’s been busy at IFA with its whole slew of new smartphones. There are three new Vibe smartphones and two “phablet”-sized devices. The new Vibe phones include the S1, P1, and P1m. The Vibe S1 is the selfie-centric device with two front-facing cameras. It has an 8-megapixel camera for those HQ seflies and a 2-megapixel shooter for depth information. These two cameras work hand-in-hand for things like refocusing, cut-outs, and background blur, among others. It’s powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 2,500mAh battery. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, 13-megapixel rear shooter, and LTE capability.

Lenovo P1Meanwhile, the P1 and P1m are more all-around devices with gigantic batteries. The P1 is an all-metal devices with a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a 5,000mAh battery. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The battery on this device allows for reverse charging of other devices over USB and has quick charging capabilities.

Lenovo P1m

The P1m is the slightly cheaper version with watered down specs. It’s made with plastic, has a 5-inch 720p display, 16GB of storage, and 8-megapixel camera. It still has a pretty hefty battery though at 4,000mAh and it also has reverse charging and quick charging features. Both phones already run on Android Lollipop and are dual-SIM devices.

Lenovo Phab Plus

Now, for its bigger smartphones, Lenovo has the new Phab and Phab Plus. The Phab Plus is the flagship of the two with its 6.8-inch 1,920 x 1,080 display with unibody metal design. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage (which is expandable via an SD card slot). It has a 13-megapixel rear shooter, 5-megapixel front shooter, and a 3,500mAh battery. The entry-level Phab might be bigger at 6.98-inches but it has lower-end specs compared to the Phab Plus. Its display is only 1,280 x 720 in resolution, it has an unspecified Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage with external storage expansion. It does have a bigger battery at 4,250mAh. Both devices are dual SIM and run on Android Lollipop as well.

No word yet if these devices will make it to this side of the world but SRPs for them are: US$299 for the Vibe S1, $279 for the Vibe P1, $159 for the P1m, $299 for the Phab Plus, and $179 for the Phab.
