If you have one Mac and need to get the latest, greatest version of Microsoft Office for Mac 2016 (including new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote), the Home & Student Edition costs CAD $149.00 for a perpetual license on one device. You'll need 4GB of RAM as well as 6GB disk space for the installation. 

Office for Mac 2016 is also available with Outlook or Publisher for more money or you can get an Office 365 subscription.
