DC looks like they’re taking themselves a lot less seriously while packing in all that action with the new look at Wonder Woman and the Justice League from the Warner Bros. panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. For me, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman was the best thing about Batman v. Superman so seeing her kick ass in her own film is a delight to see. It’s especially amazing, and definitely long overdue, that we get a female superhero lead. We just have to wait until June 2017 finally see if the film is just as amazing as the trailer.

Meanwhile, for Justice League we catch Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman trying to put together the team. It’s an easier task for some and harder for others. But we feel like DC is starting to get that mix of dark and humorous just right, if these trailers are anything to go by. Early on we’re already seeing Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash as a scene-stealer in the film. Justice League is slated for a November 2017 release.
