The comedian’s deal with the streaming service includes 24 new episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee as well as two stand-up specials. Aside from that he’ll also have a developmental role with company where he’ll be helping out for both scripted and unscripted shows. Seinfeld’s camp as well as Netflix’s won’t say how much the deal is but Forbes is estimating he’ll be getting US$750,000 per episode of the Emmy-nominated show (which is reportedly $250,000 more than what he earned from Crackle).

Aside from the $20 million he could earn from the show, the specials might also be coming with a hefty price tag. Chris Rock was reportedly paid $40 million for two specials, we’d assume Seinfeld won’t be getting less than that amount. Except for last year when Kevin Hart out-earned him, Seinfeld has consistently been named by Forbes as the highest-paid comedian and it looks like this might help him regain the title.
