Apple Inc. was excoriated for leaving out the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 a year ago. Many believed this omission was unnecessary or 'Apple being Apple,' by taking away a beloved and useful feature. Since then, almost all the new smartphones coming to market are missing the headphone jack. This leaves consumers little choice but to use an unsightly dongle to plug in their wired headphones or jump into the still nascent Bluetooth headphone space.

Well, now there's another option. Bluewave Audio's GET is a standalone Bluetooth amplifier. You connect it to your phone's Bluetooth connection and you plug in a wired headset.

It’s the perfect accessory for those toting a new iPhone or Android with no headphone jack – just plug your headphones into the Bluewave amp’s standard 3.5mm jack, pair it via Bluetooth with your smartphone or tablet, and you’ll be hearing your music in a way that’s simply impossible with your phone alone. Offering 24-bit hi-fi sound, song and volume controls, plus a microphone to answer calls without taking your phone out of your pocket. Find out more here.
