Samsung's newest smartwatch comes with a feature that wasn't really highlighted when it launched in August: the ability to control Samsung's smart home appliances. The Gear Sport, a Tizen-powered wearable, is compatible with Samsung Connect, the company's home automation platform to control everything from lights to TVs to door locks. With the turn of its bezel, you'll be able to control the aforementioned appliances. A few caveats to this, though, you'll need a compatible smartphone with the Samsung Connect app and the appliances need to be connected to the same Smart Things Hub or Samsung Connect Home Wi-Fi router.
