Things just got even stranger for the launch of Stranger Things Season 2. We pick up in the year 1984 when hanging out at the Arcade to play video games was fun and Ghostbusters was released in theatres. We really don't want to spoil anything but all you know is that Hawkins is getting darker. If you haven't watched any of the series, please, please go and start at Season 1. You need the background info to move on.

If you've binged through the first season and ready to jump right into Season 2, be prepared to be stuck on your couch for a while. If you're like many other Netflix members who like to binge-race through episodes as fast as you humanly can, you're not alone! Netflix has recently reported that more and more people are striving to be the first to finish by speeding through an entire season within 24 hours of its release! According to their data, 8.4 million Netflix users are binge racers making them the ultimate super fans!

Fun Fact: Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life garnered the nost global binge racers in its 24 hour debut. Must be the coffee.

Yes, all of Stranger Things Season 2 can be streamed of this series because the show's directors and producers  probably know that we need answers after each show. But again, we won't give anything away but it seriously fun for those who grew up in the 80s and all the references from cars to shoes to food. Keep a close eye! And the soundtrack to this series is so good!

What's been fun to see is all the hype surrounding Stranger Things 2 and fans are losing their minds!  And we're seeing more and more every day (Hello, No Frills and your sale of Eggos for 11 cents).

Here in Toronto, there are subtle ads placed on the TTC (public transit system) to promote "Hawkins Power and Light" with a 1-800 number that you can actually call. Go through the menu!

Snapchat has a filter, as expected, but it also takes you on an AR experience inside Joyce Byer's house complete with the opening theme song and goopy monster sound effects. You can tap on the lights to create a message and send off to your friends.

Netflix hosted early preview screenings globally at the same time just hours before the release on the streaming service. In Toronto, TIFF membership and Netflix guests were invited to the TIFF Bell Lightbox to take in Episode 1. The lobby had a display for fans to take their photos and post on social media, of course.

But wait...what's this about a Stranger Things After Show? Apparently we've been warned to NOT watch the after show until you've actully finished Season 2. Major spoiler alert...and we don't want to spoil anything, right?

Everyone is getting in on the action. Even Sesame Street.

And this Stranger Things Parody is everything..

Who else is dressing as Barb for Halloween this year?
