While it only took a year between season 1 one and season 2 of Stranger Things, that might not be the case for the upcoming season. As you can see, season 2 was already greenlit for a writer’s room when it debuted in 2016. This time, though, it seems to have taken Netflix a bit longer to confirm the news and according to one of the show’s stars David Harbour ak.a. Chief Hopper, the Duffer brothers are still working on the script for the third season. Harbour says they most likely won’t start filming until April. “Like any good thing, [Ross and Matt Duffer] need time. And those guys work so hard. I mean, they just sit in their apartment and write for 12, 14 hours a day.” While you might be disappointed with the news, think of it this way, we get a better show the more time they get to work on it.
