Today's the day to get the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the new Apple Watch Series 3 with GPS and Cellular as well as the updated Apple TV 4K.

The iPhone 8 introduces a revised design. It retains the general look and feel of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus but has now replaced the stainless steel casing with a glass back. There's not been a glass back on the iPhone since the iPhone 4S, this helps antennas transmit signal better and it also helps with wireless charging which is compatible with the Qi (Chee) platform.

The iPhone 8 models look great in real life, better than in pictures. iPhone 8 features new 12 megapixel cameras that can now take portraits even better thanks to improved optical image stabilization and a new studio lighting feature. Featuring the latest Apple A11 Bionic Hexacore processor with 2GB (3GB for the iPhone Plus) as well as 64GB or 256GB capacities, these are the most powerful iPhones Apple has launched.

Apple Watch Series 3 continues on the path set by its predecessors and is an even better fitness tracker thanks to Watch OS 4. A new GPS+Cellular model (currently exclusive to Bell in Canada, but which is coming to TELUS) can now handle texts, messaging and calls independently from the iPhone.

Apple is also starting to sell the Apple TV 4K which is the updated version of their set-top box and which is compatible with 4K and HDR+ displays.
