If you’ve been following international tech news, the look of what’s being said to be the OnePlus 6T is going to be familiar. WinFuture showed off the leak of the full phone and it features what’s being called by OPPO as a waterdrop design for the notch. In case you didn’t know, OnePlus and OPPO share the same parent company and OnePlus as regularly taken design cues from OPPO but altered the branding, specs, and software to appeal to markets beyond what OPPO usually goes after (which includes China and India).
Not much is known about the specs of this upcoming device. Some of the things OnePlus has confirmed is there will be no headphone jack, but it could mean the device could have a bigger battery; and it will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Some of the other rumoured specs claim it could run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, Android Pie, and at least 6GB of RAM—which are all features you can expect from the latest flagship phones. It’s said to be priced around US$550 but there is no word yet when we might expect the device to launch.
