For the first time ever, TCL is launching its portfolio of Roku TV models in Canada. Top of the line is the Roku TV 6-Series, which brings 4K high dynamic range performance with a “stealth metal design.” It supports Dolby Vision, open HDR, and HDR Performance Package Pro to give you better brightness and contrast as well as richer and more detailed colours. TCL credits this to a mix of technologies like its own Contrast Control Zones, Wide Color Gamut with NBP Photon, iPQ Engine, and HDR Pro Gamma. The 6-Series comes in a 55-inch (55R617-CA) and 65-inch (65R617-CA) models with the former retailing for $849 and the latter for $1,249.

TCL is also offering its 4-Series TVs, which bring 4K HDR, bright and accurate colours, and a slim design into one TV. It offers 4K upscaling technology to help bring non-4K content as close to Ultra HD quality as possible. It also comes equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi. The 43-inch (43S425) has a starting price of under $400.

If you need something smaller, there’s also the 3-Series. This features a high-definition display, advanced refresh rate, and dual-band Wi-Fi. These are designed to fit in any room in your house, even on a kitchen countertop.

These TVs offer the latest version of Roku OS and the Roku platform offers access to over 150,000 movies and TV episodes, including The Roku Channel which gives customers free access to a collection of films, TV shows, news, and more. The 6-Series gets the Dolby Access channel, a first for TCL Roku TVs, which show trailers and shorts that show what Dolby Vision can do for TVs.
