Earlier in March, Google Maps commemorated Mario Day by integrating Mario into Maps. They’re doing the same thing again this time but as an extension of their April Fool’s Day prank. You can play Where’s Waldo on Android, iOS, and desktop versions of Maps. Waldo will pop up when you open the app and you just need to tap on him to start playing the game that’s straight out of the classic children’s books. You’ll be given the opportunity to not just search for him but his friends as well. Once you’ve located him or all of his friends, you’ll be taken to a different level on another part of the planet. Google says there’s even a Google Assistant component to this so you can try asking “Where’s Waldo?” on your Assistant-supported device and see what happens.
