If you are more familiar with the more family-friendly Sabrina The Teenage Witch, then this is a Sabrina you don’t quite know. The upcoming Netflix series gives us first official photos of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which is also the name of the comic book series the TV show is based on. One of the images show Kiernan Shipka’s Sabrina in a Little Red Riding Hood-esque cape with a stick (or maybe it’s a broom) and bell in hand.

The other shows more of Sabrina as part of what io9 describes as a “long line of Devil-worshipping (and marrying) witches.” The second photo seems to show Sabrina becoming a Bride of Satan under the tutelage of Richard Coyle’s Father Blackwood and surrounded by her aunts, which are played by Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto. The scene also shows the three Weird Sisters, led by Tati Gabrielle’s Prudence, and don’t forget the bloodied guys off to the sides. There’s a lot to unpack here.
The 10-episode first season is coming to Netflix from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and it’ll hit the streaming service on October 26.
