Apple has earmarked September 12 to hold its annual iPhone launch event in Cupertino. The company is expected to launch three new iPhone models, including a successor to the iPhone X, a larger yet lower cost LCD iPhone and a plus sized iPhone. All the iPhones are expected to look like the iPhone X, feature double cameras and continue featuring the notch for the TrueDepth Camera.

Other announcements at this event might include refreshed iPad Pros and new replacements for the MacBook or MacBook Air line featuring Intel's latest Whiskey Lake and Amber Lake processors which can power thin and light notebooks for up to 16 hours.

Mostly an iPhone-focused event, the September special events rarely focus other hardware like Macs, this year may be different as updated Mac Pros and Mac minis are hinted to be in the pipeline. There's also a huge chance that the Apple Watch will receive a refresh this year with larger displays or a completely redesigned form-factor. No news on whether this event from the Steve Jobs Theatre in the new Apple Campus will be streamed live.
