Netflix is taking another stab at bringing a popular anime to life. The streaming service just announced it’s working on a live-action series of Avatar: The Last Airbender. According to the company’s See What’s Next Twitter account, it’s working on a “reimagined” take on the series. They teased concept artwork by John Staub and in a separate tweet announced that the original creators behind the series—Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko—will be working on the live action.

No other details yet have been released and fans are both excited and wary about the news. Live-action adaptations of popular anime don’t go over so well but fans are willing to give the new series a chance, especially with DiMartino and Konietzko onboard. What do you think? Is this something you’re excited to see or not?
