Apple has been rumoured to be releasing a new version of the iPhone SE in the coming year. But instead of calling it the iPhone SE 2, it might be called the iPhone 9. At least, that is what's being reported by an "informed source" on Japanese blog Mac Otakara. The report claims the design will be similar to the iPhone 8. It'll have a 4.7-inch display with Touch ID, A13 Bionic chip, and 3GB of RAM. But it wouldn't support 3D Touch.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts the iPhone 9 will cost around US$399 (around CA$529) for the 64GB variant. The phone might come in Space Gray, Silver, and Red.
