Sci-fi series Altered Carbon is making a comeback on Netflix, and the streaming service just announced who will be joining the cast for the second season. Two cast members coming back include Hamilton’s Renée Elise Goldsberry as revolutionary leader Quellcrist Falconer and Chris Conner as the AI hotel manager Poe. They will be joined by the new Takeshi Kovacs, played by Anthony Mackie, who you might know as Falcon from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking of Marvel, Simone Missick, who plays Misty Knight in the now-cancelled Marvel television universe on Netflix, will be joining the cast as a highly-skilled bounty hunter named Trepp. Daredevil's Dina Shihabi will play Dig 301, an obsolete AI program that focused on archaeology projects. Torben Liebrecht will play Colonel Carrera, a leader of the Protectorate Special Forces. And James Saito will play Tanaseda Hideki, a Yakuza boss who has personal history with Takeshi. Altered Carbon is based on books by Richard K. Morgan and is helmed by Laeta Kalogdris and Alison Schapker. There is no word yet about the second season's release date.
