The ROG Phone II needs some accessories to make it a worthy purchase. And ASUS prepared a few alongside the launch of the new phone.
We get the new AeroActive Cooler II, which is four times quieter than the original at 24dB. It’s designed to keep the exterior of the phone cooler and help drop temperature by 5 degrees lower. At the same time, it doubles as a kickstand, so you can leave the phone on the table and uses a wireless controller.
Speaking of wireless controllers, we have the Nintendo Switch-inspired Kunai Gamepad. You can attach them to either side of the phone for a handheld experience, or attach them together to work as a wireless gamepad. You can pair this with docks like the WiGig display dock, Pro Dock, or the Mobile Desktop Dock to output the image on a bigger display.
There’s a new TwinView Dock II as well. It adds a second 120Hz/1ms touchscreen, cooling fan, and 5,000mAh battery. This dock has been designed to be lighter and offer better weight distribution to make it easier to hold. Aside from Asphalt 9, Shadowgun Legends will support the TwinView Dock II and dual vibration as well.
