At Apple's recent event, Apple announced the availability of its upcoming streaming service. Apple TV+ is coming to the country on November 1st, and it'll cost $5.99 per month. The service will be the cheapest out of the existing streaming services. It'll even be less expensive than Disney's upcoming Disney Plus service, which will arrive on November 12th at $8.99.
Apple won't have as big a catalogue as its competition. But some of the shows expected include the Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston's drama "The Morning Show," the Emily Dickinson biopic series "Dickinson" starring Hailee Steinfeld, the space race fantasy "For All Mankind," and the futuristic virus TV show "See" with Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard.
The service will be available through Apple's Apple TV app, which is accessible through the iPhone, iPod, Apple TV, and iPod Touch devices. It'll also be on select Samsung TVs as well as Amazon Fire TV, LG, Roku, Sony, and VIZIO devices at later dates. To incentivize Apple customers, those who buy a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TVs, iPod touch, or Mac will get a one-year subscription to the service for free.
