Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
Samsung has officially unveiled the Lite versions of last year's flagships. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite offer compelling features at what's expected to be more affordable price points. We can't say the price because Samsung hasn't released the price yet.
The two handsets share some features, including 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays with a 2,400 x 1,080 resolution, punch-hole cutouts for the selfie cameras at the top center of the phones, 4,500mAh batteries, either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage. The designs are somewhat similar, with a rectangular camera module at the back. But the rest of its features are different.
Starting with the processors, the Galaxy S10 Lite runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, while the Galaxy Note 10 Lite uses Samsung's Exynos 8895 chipset. The latter might get a different processor in some markets, but for now, that's what it comes with.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
Both smartphones offer a triple-camera setup on the back, but they have different sensors. The Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a 5-megapixel f/2.4 macro sensor, a 48-megapixel F2.0 wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide featuring a 123-degree angle shooter. The wide-angle lens comes with a new Super Steady OIS feature, which the Galaxy Note 10 Lite doesn't carry.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite has 12-megapixel sensors all around, but there's one ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture; a wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture, dual-pixel technology, and OIS; and a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and OIS.
And since the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is a Note device, it comes with an S Pen, which has the same Bluetooth Low-Energy support introduced with the Galaxy Note 9. This S Pen will also let you control the phone.
As we mentioned, Samsung hasn't revealed details about the price or availability just yet. But we're keeping our eyes and ears peeled for any updates.
