The Health app on the iPhone can now show you your full health records from supported healthcare institutions. Apple has expanded access to Health Records here in Canada and the UK. Partner medical institutions here are currently limited to Ontario, including Women's College Hospital in Toronto, St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton in Hamilton, and Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill. But Apple says more facilities will connect to Health Records in the coming months.

Health Records automatically consolidates your records held in different locations without requiring you to manually logging into each healthcare provider every time. It shows data like allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, medications, procedures, and vitals. The feature creates a direct encrypted connection between the medical facilities and your iPhone. And you can get alerted when data is updated.

Apple has collaborated with Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, and InterSystems to enable the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard integration with the Health app.
