It looks like Chromecast with Google TV has some more small bugs to crush. Google rolled out another "incremental update" nearly a couple of months after its launch. Version 200918.015 is rolling out now to the units. And if you have one, you might get a notification about it. The 86.48MB download will automatically install around 3 a.m. once it's been downloaded to the new Chromecast.

If you want to check if it's already on your system, you can head to Settings > System > About > System Updates. It's expected to be based on Android 10 with the September 2020 security patch on board. The remote is also getting a minor update with firmware version 24.2, which will install shortly after the Chromecast is updated. You can also install it yourself by heading to Settings > System > Remotes & Accessories > Chromecast Remote. It isn't clear what issues Google is working on with the updates as they didn't release a changelog for the updates.
