You might have heard of the third-party customized PlayStation 5 coloured plates being sold online. We actually even wrote about them. But Sony is not allowing the company to continue with its plans. The company even had to change its name from PlateStation to Customize My Plates. The company wrote a tweet on October 30 that it'll cancel all orders and processing refunds over the weekend. Once it's done, those who pre-order the plates will receive an email.

Customize My Plates isn't pushing through with the accessory to avoid ending up with court against the tech company. The brand is pivoting to offering vinyl skins instead.
