There have been rumours about the colour variants of the upcoming Samsung flagship. Now, new renders of the device have been teased on social media by prolific leaker Ice Universe. They posted on Twitter that the Galaxy S21's design is "unique and deserves praise." Whether you agree or not, the rumoured flagship handset features a new design aesthetic for the series, with the rear camera module blending into the phone's housing. It gets rid of the usually unsightly camera bump.
The renders show the Galaxy S21 in the predicted colorways: Phantom White, Gray, Violet, and Pink. There's also a Black unit, but this is reportedly available in the higher-end models of the S21.
Previous reports suggested the new frames will be finished in copper, but it looks like it's only applied to the white S21 here. There seem to be two finishes for the camera module—the shinier camera module and the sides made of an undisclosed material.
The rest of the rear panel will supposedly be made of plastic, a first for a Samsung flagship series in recent history (think as far back as the Galaxy S6).
What do you think of the new design? Is this new look something you can get behind?
